Cron every weekday at 9am
For a standard Monday-Friday schedule at 9:00 AM, use 0 9 * * 1-5.
Useful variants
- 30 9 * * 1-5 → weekdays at 9:30 AM.
- 0 9 * * 1-6 → Monday-Saturday at 9:00 AM.
- 0 9 * * 1 → every Monday at 9:00 AM.
- 0 9 * * MON-FRI → same schedule on systems that support named weekdays.
Timezone note (important)
Cron executes in the environment timezone unless configured otherwise. If your server runs in UTC but your business day is local time, 9:00 local may not equal 0 9 * * 1-5 on the server.
- Confirm scheduler timezone (server config, container, or platform setting).
- Convert the target local time to scheduler time.
- Preview next 10 run times in your cron parser.
- Re-check around daylight saving transitions.
